Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

This position is entirely in-office, based in Irvine, CA, and may require occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming EDI/manual orders through fulfillment and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Accurately enter customer orders with efficiency and precision.
  • Review and correct data deficiencies or errors to ensure flawless input and output.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast potential needs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely, professional manner.
  • Provide detailed information on products, services, and company policies.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Process customer orders and manage order entry within internal systems.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Monitor order status and proactively provide updates to customers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, including sizes, packaging, and storage requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve product or service inquiries using sound judgment, offering solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other formulas).
  • Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday in Irvine, CA with expected overtime.
  • Availability to provide coverage every other weekend and alternate holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
